Each member structure of the Metropolitan Trails Network works to implement or maintain a Metropolitan Trail, to improve the hospitality of the territory, to develop editorial productions, and to involve communities of inhabitants and experts in the life of the Trail.
With the development of metropolitan hiking and the proliferation of approaches, actors of this urban innovation have come together to set up a network from which new project leaders, the public and the territories can benefit.
“Sentiers Métropolitains” and “Metropolitan Trails” trademarks have been registered at the National Institute of Industrial Property (France) by the Metropolitan Trails Agency in order to allow members of the network to benefit from them.
The network’s trails bring their audiences together and benefit from the network’s influence at the national and international levels.
Membership in the network is annual.
