MetropolitanTrails workshops are original educative tools that allow us to share, develop and diffuse our skills in route-designing and city-editing with students and professionals.

Centered on geography, urbanism and publishing, these workshops target all students dealing with the city―in urban studies, human sciences, visual arts, environmental studies, etc.

In close partnership with educational requirements of a class, we design a set of conferences and walks, organizing studio and field work into a common production. Typically our workshops will include one night on the field, and at least one 15-km day of walking, a preliminary session on the map, and a post-field work of production.

Our methodology was designed after a first experience with NYU freshmen students in Abu Dhabi. It relies on a strong participation of the students, particularly during the collecting process of the walk.
